Activity Alliance yesterday (6 September) released a new three-year strategy – Achieving Inclusion Together. Determined to change the reality of disability, inclusion and sport, the charity looks to a future where disabled people are just as likely as non-disabled people to be active. A morning of Walking Netball and Walking Squash is to be held in Swavesey, as part of a programme to get even more Cambridgeshire residents exercising.
The event, run by South Cambridgeshire District Council in partnership with Living Sport and England Netball, is aimed at adults that want to try something different to get active, especially if they don’t want to take part in the fast-paced game.
