Power 2 Inspire New Inclusive Community Sports Programme

Cambridge charity Power 2 Inspire is launching an all new community inclusive weekly sport programme in 2018. The programme leads on from the adapted sports days in schools that they deliver across the county. In partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council and Sport England, this programme of inclusive sport includes boccia, new age kurling, sitting volleyball, table cricket, goalball and polybat.Read More

Boccia Schools County Competition Success

Winners Physical Disability Competition

Pupils from schools across the county tested their skills in a sports tournament with a difference – competing in the Paralympic sport of boccia on 7th December.

Hosted by Cambridge Regional College, the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Lord Taverners Under 19 County tournament attracted teams from six schools with three teams – Impington Village College 2, Gretton A and Hinchingbrooke 1 going on to next year’s regional competition.Read More
