Sport England has an ongoing research programme which includes the Active People Survey. This measures a number of key Government sport participation indicators (see document below).
The survey is a national sport participation survey of adults (age 16 and over) in England carried out by Ipsos MORI on behalf of Sport England.
The research started in 2005 and runs from October to October each year and the latest results from October 2008 to October 2009 were published early in 2010.
This information is available on a geographical basis.
LIVING SPORT will be uploading the information for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough over the next few months with ideas on how to use it.
