Being active can build your children’s self confidence, reduce anxiety and improve their self-esteem. Over the upcoming period your children won’t be able to access their usual PE lesson, however there are plenty of ways they can still access the lovely benefits of being active whilst at home.   • Tennis at Home! The Lawn Tennis Association have created a series of  fundamental movement tennis based sessions. The sessions are broken down for different ages, and can help your children to develop skills to succeed at any racket based game. Videos are available on their YouTube page here.
  • Looking to incorporate movement whilst teaching the kids at home? imoves have created imovement  a free platform, designed by teachers, to help you integrate active learning to curriculum based lessons. A super way to shake up maths, science and english lessons!
  • Change4Life and Disney have teamed up to bring you their Disney Shake Up Games! Inspired by Disney classics such as Toy Story, Frozen and The Lion King these 10 minute games are perfect to get your kids moving and having fun.   • Joe Wicks AKA The Body Coach is holding a live PE lesson, every weekday at 9am starting on Monday 23rd March. These sessions are the perfect way for your children to have a positive, healthy start to the day and you can join in! His youtube channel is here, make sure you tune in!
