Living Sport has launched a funding pot for organisations that deliver sports opportunities for people with disabilities. Grants will be awarded up to £200 in one application to organisation who this small amount of money will make a really difference to people with disabilities participating in sport.
The money can be used to support an element of current activity or support the set-up of a project to increase participation. Cost that could be eligible for funding include training costs to upskill coaches, equipment specific to including people with disabilities or additional promotional costs.
The funding is a small pot that has come about through Living Sport’s fundraising activities over the past year. Priority for awarding money will be given to projects that can show great impact and sustainability for grass root sports including disabled people in sport.
