Besides being fun, there are lots of benefits to playing sports and here are just a few:
The government recommends that adults should aim to take 30 minutes of at least moderate intensity physical activity on at least five days a week, and children and young people should achieve 60 minutes every day.
Recent statistics suggest that seven out of ten adults don’t do enough physical activity but it’s never too late to start. There are lots of ways you get become active and you'll find some ideas here.
