The 'Gold' Group



The ‘Gold’ group has been set up in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, gathering representatives from the public and private sectors covering sport, health, community, transport, skills and business.

The group will be looking at how Cambridgeshire and Peterborough can best capitalise on the opportunities and benefits from London 2012 Games at a more local level.

Living East

The Cultural Olympiad will celebrate the cultures, people and languages which are brought together by the Olympic Games. There will be local and regional projects and events, large-scale projects and mandatory ceremonies commencing in autumn 2008. Greater Cambridge Partnership

The London 2012 Olympic Games will bring economic, skill, sporting and cultural benefits to the East of England. To find out how we can best capitalise on the Olympics visit The Greater Cambridge Partnership.

Nations and Regions East

The Nations and Regions East (NRE) is part of the London 2012 organising committee and is The East of England Development Agency’s (EEDA) leading delivery partner. NRE is responsible for maximising benefits from the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in the East of England.
