LIVING SPORT supports the Government's ambition to develop a high-quality school sport national competition framework. Quality competition is one of the four key elements within high-quality physical education and school sport for all young people.
School Sports Partnerships Schools Sports Partnerships are groups of schools working together to develop PE and sports opportunities for all young people. The typical structure of an SSP is: - Partnership Development Manager (PDM)
Usually within a Sports College, they develop strategic links between key partners and the community. - School Sports Co-ordinators (SSCos)
Based in secondary schools and aim to improve school sport and out-of-hours activity, competitions, across a variety of schools. - Primary and Special School Link Teachers (PLTs)
From primary and special schools, they improve the quality of sport and physical activity in their own schools.
