Baseball / Softball

A Baseball team consists of 9 players on each side. The objective is to hit a thrown ball, before proceeding to run through 4 bases, stopping if necessary and waiting to score if a team mate scores a hit.

Softball is a descendant of baseball and therefore they encounter very few differences.

The two sports are not as well known to be played in Europe, the UK being no exception however there are some softball and baseball leagues developing across the country.
