Curling

Curling is a team sport played on a rectangular piece of ice, two teams of four players take it in turns to slide polished granite stones across ice towards a fixed target. Two players of each team are given the role of ‘sweepers’, their responsibility is to use a broom and their own judgment to help direct the stones towards the target. The game shares many similarities with darts and shuffleboard.
