London Olympics 201227 July – 12 August 2012
On Wednesday 6th July 2005 London won the honor of being the host of the Summer Olympics and Paralympics in 2012, after an 18 month race. London fought
off competition from Paris, Moscow, New York and Madrid to be the host city of the games.
The 2012 Olympic Games will be the first time since 1948 that London will host the Games. The Olympics offer a unique stage for people from across the world to come together to unite and compete in several sports.
