Letter received from Hollie to SportsAid Committee.....
"You kindly sent me a Grant towards my costs to compete in the World Games of Martial Arts in Cancun, Mexico in January this year.
In total Team GBR bought home a total of 52 medals!
My ambition is to get a Gold next year. I'm already in training and studying for my A Levels.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your support, as without it, I couldn't compete.
I started Martial Arts (Tang Soo Do) at the age of 7. I wanted a sport that would challenge me and also build up my confidence.
Once I started I just got hooked. My father used to take me and he too got hooked. Now he's a triple Gold world Champion.
It was extremely hard and took real commitment and dedication. It is a very respectful sport and our club is just like a family.

I attend Master Parkers Serial Kickers in Peterborough. Without Master Ian Parker, I would not be where I am today.
I have competed locally, internationally and World. I train at least 4 times a week, it would be more but I am studying for my 'A' Levels at the moment. It was in 2008, I was invited to represent KTBF Team England.
I represented Team GBR at the World Congress of Martial Arts in the Dominican Rebuplic in 2011 and bought home Silver and Bronze Medals.
Master Parker took 16 members of Team GBR and bought home a total of 41 medals for Great Britain.
This year Master Parkers Serial Kickers went to the WCMA World Games in Cancun, Mexico and we bought home 52 medals!!!
We are currently in training as we would like to attend the World Games in January 2013, which is taking place in Mexico again.
The club are activley trying to raise money so we can compete.
We are currently looking for local/national sponsors for the club. If anyone is interested; please contact us by clicking here
We can arrange for Company logos to be put on all our GB equipment and GB track suits.
I would personally like to thank SportsAid, as without their help I could not afford to keep competing.
