Do you need more volunteers?

It’s just three years to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and over 250,000 people in the UK have already registered to volunteer.

All those people who have expressed an interest in volunteering have received a letter inviting them to volunteer in their local community. In Cambridgeshire and Peterborough people have been directed to the Cambridge Volunteer Centre who will put them in contact with their local Volunteer Centre.

It would be great if these people started volunteering in sport and physical activities in their communities and supported local sports clubs and organisations.  So if your sports club or organisation needs volunteers please advertise the role by contacting your local Volunteer Centre who will register it on the www.do-it.org.uk website, the only national database of volunteering opportunities.
