1st4sport Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Rounders. Cost £195
15th November and 6th December 2009 (you must attend both days) at Cambridge Regional College, Kings Hedges Campus, Cambridge, CB4 2QT.
This is the first qualification within Rounders England new coaching structure and replaces the old NRA Level 1 and NRA 2 courses. The course provides an introduction to the principles and practices of coaching to adults and young people. Disability Equality Workshop
Wednesday 7th October 2009 6.30 – 9.30pm at Cambridgeshire Football Association, Bridge Road, Impington, Cambs, CB24 9PH. Cost: £10
This workshop is aimed at anyone involved in football who is interested in developing opportunities for disabled people to participate in football. It is designed to build confidence when working with disabled people and covers legislation, best practice and actions to take to promote inclusive football.

Learn Golf in A Day on Saturday 12 September!
If you are a beginner, or have played a little, and want to learn new skills or improve your game then this day at Lakeside Lodge Golf Course, Pidley, Huntingdon could be for you. Andy Fletcher, Head Teaching Professional PGA, will lead a day of tuition starting on the Driving Range, followed by Shortgame tuition on the Par 3 Course, putting technique on the Putting Green and a 6 Hole Playing lesson. Huntingdonshire Athletics Club
The Club will be running a Back to Track programme for all men and women over 35 at St Ivo Outdoor Sports Centre starting in October. The programme will give adults the opportunity to participate in athletics and is tailored to suit adults of all skill levels from complete beginners to those who already take part in athletics. Coaching is provided in running, jumping and throwing. The Programme is for people who want to have fun, participate, make friends, learn new skills, and develop their fitness levels. There are opportunities to compete in local competitions where participation is rated far above performance. For those who don’t want to compete, there are opportunities to train either as an official, to help out at local competitions, or as a coach. Sessions cost £3.00 and are on Wednesdays 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and/or Sundays 12:30 am to 1:30 pm from 1 October 2009 to 30 March 2010 (come along whenever you can make it; you can always pick up where you left off).
The last Free Summer Athletics Academy for 11-16 year olds at the St Ivo Outdoor Centre takes place on Thursday 20 August 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Qualified UK Athletics coaches will help improve your running, jumping and throwing skills for FREE. Just bring a pair of trainers, clothing suitable for exercise and the willingness to give it a go. The emphasis is on fun, so come along and enjoy yourself!
