The New Way to Play Cricket

The Global franchise Last Man Stands (LMS) is returning to Cambridgeshire and Peterborough for a second season and we are now encouraging team to get involved!

This social, competitive and fast-paced game is finished within 2 hours and is a great way of spending time with friends or colleagues in a fun and enjoyable environment.

The summer of 2012 saw 14 teams playing in two leagues, one in Newmarket and the other in Peteroborugh. The well-know Godolphin stables from Newmarket had two of their teams going head to head in the Newmarket final in September and AMO Lions and the Stag Meisters taking to the wicket for their final in Peterborough.

The year is set to be bigger and better, with talks of a new St Ives league underway. We are looking for more teams to join in this new and exciting version of T20 cricket.

To register:

For more information on the rules of LMS and how to register a team download the five minute summary document below, alternatively contact Carla Brown at cambridge@lastmanstands.co.uk or call 01487 849926. Find out who else is playing LMS by visiting the LMS website www.lastmanstands.co.uk.

To register your team you will need at least 8 people, will pay a one off team registration fee (£160) and a match fee per game (£48) which will include everything you need to play in an exciting quality cricket league .

LMS is supported by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and locally the Huntingdonshire Cricket Board, Cambridgeshire Cricket Board, and LIVING SPORT.
