Step Into Sport focuses on young people, giving them opportunities to become involved in sports leadership and volunteering, and encouraging them to continue this into later life. LIVING SPORT has been successfully delivering Step Into Sport in the partnership area for several years and we are delighted that funding has been confirmed by Sport England until March 2011. The funding will enable us to continue our support of School Sports Partnership Leadership Academies as well as clubs who take young volunteers. Sport England congratulated LIVING SPORT on the quality of our Delivery Plan and has used it as an example of best practice.
