Don’t miss out on Free Training

LIVING SPORT is pleased to announce that the East Links: Leading the Field project is now well under way. There are lots of courses available so if you live or work in Cambridgeshire then this could be your opportunity to access free training in the sport and leisure industry. 

Leading the Field provides fully funded training courses for individuals who are employed or regularly volunteer in, or are looking to enter the sport and active leisure sector. The project is managed by the Association of Colleges in the Eastern Region (ACER), supported by SkillsActive and is running throughout the eastern region. It is being delivered in Cambridgeshire by LIVING SPORT, Cambridge Regional College, College of West Anglia and National Governing Bodies.  Possible qualifications include:

  • Level one, two and three coaching qualifications in a number of NGB supported sports*
  •  Officiating qualifications in a number of sports*
  • Coach tutor qualifications
  • Health and fitness qualifications
  • Leisure facilities / operator qualifications
  • Community sport qualifications such as mentoring
  • Management development workshops
