Lilias Adamson and Sue Pearson have been crowned champions in the inaugural PING Women's Fourball Betterball Tournament of England Plate Final.
The Ely City duo set an early target of 43 points on the Thonock Park course at PING's Gainsborough Golf Club, and it was never beaten, with their nearest rivals from Worcestershire's who were two behind.
Adamson and Pearson's victory means they qualify for the UK final of the Volvo Masters Amateur Tour at Kingsbarns, Scotland in October.
Adamson and Pearson had originally won the Ely City club qualifier with 42 points earlier in the year, before Adamson got a back injury which ruled her out for three months, making the victory even more impressive.
