Georgina Bullen has become the newest recruit for the Great British women's Goalball team, returning from Munich with a well-deserved gold medal in the European Championships.
Bullen, 15, the youngest in the squad, comes from Shrepreth and joined the team for her first major international in which her goal was a key contributor to her team's success.
Played on an area the size of a volleyball court, goalball is a fast, fierce, strategic game played by the blind or visually impaired. Players aim to score goals by rolling a specially adapted ball into the opposition's goal.
This recent achievement puts Great Britain in good stead for the 2012 Paralympics making them real medal contenders.
