COCSC swimmers awarded Small Grant
City of Cambridge Swimming Club has been awarded £1127 for Land Training Kit from Sport England from the Small Grant Award Scheme.
The Sport England Small Grants Programme has been set up to support local community sport projects which seek to increase participation, sustain participation or develop opportunities for people to excel at their chosen sport.
It might help a not-for-profit sports club expand its age range by helping it to buy extra team kit, pay additional coaching fees or help youth clubs work with local sports clubs to get more young people playing sport.
Membership secretary and Swim 21 Liaison officer Richard Holt described the process as ‘online, simple and it works’.
