Records tumbled in quick succession at the City of Cambridge Swimming Club championships.Swimmers aged from seven years old competed in the event at Parkside Pools and with such a big competitive edge, new records were set across the age groups and disciplines.
Richard Jefferies, aged 14, was once again in outstanding form, improving his own 400m individual medley county record by breaking the club record as well. He also set new benchmarks in the 100m individual medley and 100m freestyle as well as winning all the boys' races in the under-14 age group.
Other swimmers including Robert Brunton, Sam Peddar, Harry Robinson and Ellie Winter were record breakers in the event.
