Canoe England present upcoming Awards

Canoe England has two award ceremonies coming up towards the end of this year and are looking for nominations.

The first set of awards in Paddlesport are the Volunteer and Recognition Awards 2009, which comprises of categories including Young Volunteer, Volunteer Coach, Official and Outstanding Contribution. The closing date for nominations is Friday 23rd October.

The second set of awards presented by Canoe England is the Club of the Year Awards 2010. These awards are open to all affiliated clubs until Monday 14th December, with the winning club receiving £700 and the two runners-up claiming £300. The chosen three clubs will then have the chance to represent the BCU at the CCPR Sports Club of the Year Awards where the top prize is £6,000.
