The LIVING SPORT Sports Awards 2009 are only one week away and there are only a few tickets remaining.
The evening, held at the Huntingdon Marriott Hotel on Thursday 12th November, celebrates local sporting achievement by sports people, clubs, schools, coaches and volunteers. There nine awards at the prestigious event, including; KITSPORTS Sports Performer, ANGLIA RUSKIN Disabled Sports Performer, CAMBRIDGE NEWS Coach of the Year and MATTHEW WARN Power of Sport.
The tickets are available at a cost of £30 per person, with a formal three course dinner and former England rugby star Rory Underwood as an after dinner speaker.
BBC Radio Cambridgeshire will be promoting the Sports Awards next week, so do not forget to tune in to the Jeremy Sallis, Andi Harper and Sue Dougan shows on 96FM, 95.7FM and DAB digital radio.
