Peterborough High School has national success

Peterborough High School returned from the British Indoor Rowing Championships at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham with both teams becoming National Champions.

The British Indoor Rowing Championships is the world's biggest indoor rowing race and the largest indoor sporting event in the UK. The event takes place in a high-octane environment where over 2,000 competitors raced over the course in just one day.

The High School’s winning teams were in the Boys' Junior 11 (Year 6) and the Girls' Junder 12 (Year 7) categories and both teams received a rapturous applause as they took their places on top of the podium. The Girls’ were doubly successful as they posted a new British record time in their relay.
