Peterborough kickboxer Clifton Findley is the world’s best four years after retiring.
The legendary martial artist ended his glittering career back in 2005, but returned to action to capture the one world crown that had always eluded him. Findley managed to win National, European and International honours but never collect the World Association of Kickboxing Organisations (WAKO) title.
Findley destroyed his competition in the five fights of the Over 35, plus 94kg category in Italy, with a single point win in the semi-final against American Dennis Molloy his toughest bout.
Findley’s son Kyle is also a top-class competitor, and the Peterborough legend now plans to end his career after the European Championships next year.
