Recession Busting Event in January 2010

Cambridgeshire ACRE, working in partnership with Business Link East and Citylife Limited, would like to invite Third Sector organisations to a special half-day event.

The event will look at what third sector organisations need to do in order to survive the changing economic environment in which they are operating.

Cambridgeshire ACRE is delighted to welcome Craig Dearden-Phillips, Chief Executive Officer of Speaking Up – and a social entrepreneurship expert – as the keynote speaker.

This free event will take place at the Burgess Hall in St Ives on Monday 25 January 2010 and will include sector-specialist speakers, participative breakout sessions, support packs, networking opportunities and a marketplace of support providers. It will be of interest to paid staff, trustees and other volunteers.

The full invitation to this event, detailed information on the breakout sessions that will take place and a booking form for the event are attached below.

The closing date for bookings is Friday 15 January 2010 and places will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

To contact Cambridgeshire ACRE about this event and the work they do with the rural community, call 01353 860850 or visit www.cambsacre.org.uk.
