Sammy Chambers and Carrie Hastings were crowned champions once again at the Cambridgeshire County Squash Championships held at the newly-refurbished Cambridge Squash Club.
Chambers won his third title in row after defeating previous three-time winner from 2002, Galen Le Cheminant, in one of the best county finals to memory.
18 year old Chambers, returning after a five month injury layoff, came from two sets down against his older opponent, who was returning after two years away from the sport, to level the match and then won a pulsating fifth set 13-11.
In the Ladies final, No 1 seed and WISPA tour player Hastings won her fourth county title by beating Master’s player Julia Dolman, the No 2 seed, in three straight sets.
