Cambridgeshire high jumper Robbie Grabarz claimed a bronze medal at the Aviva World Indoor Trials and UK Championships in Sheffield.
The 22 year old, a silver medallist at the Aviva World Trials in Birmingham last year, cleared a season's best 2.22m to finish third behind Samson Oni and Tom Parsons.
A bronze medal was the minimum target for the athlete looking to compete at the Commonwealth Games later in the year.
Cambridge & Coleridge AC athlete Ed Aston ran a season's best to finish third in the final of the 800m at the English Institute of Sport.Aston was over-hauled by rising star Andrew Osagie on the final bend to claim the bronze medal position, and will now be looking forward to getting back out in the summer season.
