Ellie Winter booked her place at the National Swimming Championships with some fine performances at the annual Burns Meet gala held at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.
The two-day long course event gives talented youngsters the chance to compete against Great Britain swimmers and Winter, and fellow City of Cambridge Swimming Club member Richard Jefferies, both excelled.
14 year old Winter, competing in the under 14/15 event, achieved national qualifying times in all the events she entered, with fifth in the 100m freestyle, ninth in the 200m freestyle and 10th in the 50m freestyle.
Jefferies, 14, finished third in the 200m individual medley to set a national qualifying time, while finishing fourth in the 50m backstroke, fifth in the 400m individual medley and ninth in the 200m freestyle.
