Karate champion Nato Ficarra has teamed up with boxing legend Dave ‘Boy’ Green to pass his skills to youngsters at schools in Wilburton and Witchford.
The 42 year old, who claimed his third European title earlier this year, will provide martial arts sessions for youngsters in the area, after the pair met up recently to discuss ways they can use their expertise and Ficarra's classes at Harbour School and Witchford Village College are the early results of it.
More than 20 youngsters are attending the weekly sessions at Harbour and Ficarra is looking to encourage more girls to take up the sport with 14 so far already attending Witchford VC classes.
