CP Sport will be hosting five Grand Prix competitions as part of an Athletics Series during 2010.
The series will be held at the following times; Saturday 17th April at Perivale Park Athletics Track in London, Saturday 22nd May at Robin Park in Wigan, Saturday 19th June at Bath University, Saturday 3rd July at Harvey Hadden in Nottingham, Saturday 21st August at the Tartan Games in Gateshead.
Athletes may compete in all five meetings, with the best three individual performances selected to determine the overall winner in each category. Winning athletes will be presented with their prizes during the CP National Championships on Saturday 18th September at Harvey Hadden Stadium, Nottingham.
There are six categories in the series, with Male and Females classes in track, and field, Juniors, and Guests (athletes from other disability groups). Prizes are awarded as £100 and trophy for each category winner, with juniors receiving £50 and trophy for series success.
Entry fees for the events are split per competition or for the series, as follows:
- CP Sport Senior Members - £15 per competition or £45 for the series
- Non Members - £20 per competition or £50 for the series
- Juniors (under 18 on 31st December 2010) - £10 per competition or £30 for the series
