Golfer Jack Andrews won the 2009-10 Junior Winter Eclectic after a successful and consistent campaign at Cambridge Lakes.
The youngster has been in the top two for all 14 weeks of the competition and did just enough to finish ahead of last year's winner Alex Logan. Alex Holdsworth was third and winner of the best gross score trophy.
Andrews clinched the putting trophy last weekend before finishing with the final putt of the year. Simon Dutton posted a nett score of 22 to record the day’s highest score, victory meaning he went on to take the silverware for most trophy wins over the season.
Alex Hearne-Potton was the overall winner of the Under 12 competition, impressiving throughout the competition by winning from the first week until the last.
Matthew Holdsworth, younger brother of Alex, won the lowest nett trophy, while Caleb White claimed the chipping and putting trophy for the second time. Jacob Gamble picked up the trophy for lowest handicap and Matthew Brett's fantastic hole-in-one, achieved in January, earned him a special trophy.
