Rob Huff hailed his 'dream start' to the World Touring Car Championship after finishing second and fifth in the opening two races in Brazil.
The Cambridge driver has the ambition to win the drivers' title this year and he got his campaign off to a fantastic start by picking up a healthy number of points in both races.
The former LIVING SPORT Sports Performer of the Year began race one with a fantastic start which saw him close to new teammate Yvan Muller, but Huff settled for second as the Chevrolet team claimed a clean sweep podium.
Race two proved more difficult for Huff as he again started quickly to take up third behind to SEAT drivers, before contact with SR-Sport’s Tom Coronel caused problems for the 30 year old. He allowed teammates Muller and Alain Menu to pass him as he held on for fifth place.
Huff lies fourth in the drivers' standings with 28 points, while Muller and race two winner Gabriele Tarquini share the lead with 37 and Menu is third on 30. Chevrolet lead the manufacturers' championship with 70 points, ahead of SR-Sport on 66 and BMW on 40.
