Paul Swannell was overjoyed after leading Godmanchester Town Cricket Club to glory in the ECB National Indoor Cup at Lord's.
The captain and his teammates Matt Pateman, Ben Clement, Adam Cousins, James Sykes and James Cowan pulled off a sensational victory over Kent side Betteshanger Colliery in the semi-finals, before defeating Poole Town in the final to collect the trophy from former England skipper Mike Gatting.
A perfect day was completed when Swannell, who claimed three wickets in the semi-final, was named the Bowler of the Day and Pateman collected the Fielder of the Day prize.
