LIVING SPORT take part in radio Sports Quiz

Two members from the LIVING SPORT team took part in the BBC Radio Cambridgeshire Monday Night Sports Quiz last night (22nd March), hosted by Alex Harris.

LIVING SPORT’s CEO Simon Fairhall and Sports Projects Officer Ryan Cullum were led by team captain Steve Jackson, with Peter Swan the other captain and accompanied by Chris Scott, ex-first class cricketer and now Head Coach of Cambridge UCCE side.

LIVING SPORT were on the show to promote their Sport Relief Gym Challenge taking place today (Tuesday 23rd March) and G.O.L.D., the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough coordinating group for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.

After a tight start in the opening two rounds, the quiz was tied 8-8. A magnificent answer to the slow burner from Peter Swan saw his team into the lead, which they held until the final round. With the LIVING SPORT behind 25-27, an inspired finish saw the team win 37-29 by the end of the fantastic hour.

A big thank you must go to the show’s team for the light-hearted discussion on sport, and tune in every Monday from 6pm - 7pm to listen to the Sports Quiz on 96fm and 95.7fm.
