The LIVING SPORT team completed their Sport Relief Gym Challenge on Tuesday 23rd March.
The challenge was to walk, run, row and cycle 62.4 miles, the distance from Tydd St Giles to Little Chishill, the northern most village in the county to the southernmost. The team achieved over their target distance and recorded a distance of 71.9 miles between the 11 taking part.
CEO Simon Fairhall began the challenge at 9am, with Challenge Organiser Ryan Cullum completing the challenge at 4.30pm with his final one mile row, after which he said, ‘it was brilliant for the team to get involved in the challenge.
To see us completing nearly an extra 10 miles shows the dedication of us all and special mentions must go to Ross (Hayward) for completing his entire 5.2 miles on the Cross Trainer, Charlotte (Beattie) for cycling 8.5 miles and Vicki and Luke of Lakeside Lodge Gym for allowing us to use their facilities.’
The LIVING SPORT team have raised over £50 for Sport Relief and are already looking forward to a new challenge next year.
