April’s Badminton Young Officials course

The latest Badminton Young Officials Award course in Cambridgeshire will take place on Sunday 25th April at Hinchingbrooke School from 10am – 2pm.

The Award is an introduction to officiating designed to equip the Young Official with the necessary skills and qualification that will allow them to officiate at badminton events. The course covers areas including; Scoring, Tournament Regulations, Court Management, and Service and Line Judging.

The course will cost £26.50 per young person aged 14 – 19 and attendees will have the opportunity to help officiate at the Yehlex Badminton Bonanza at Cambridge Regional College on the weekend of 22nd – 23rd May where they will be able to achieve their 10 hours of required voluntary work.

Places will be offered on a first come first served basis so anyone interested in to attending this course should email Helen Critchell of Cambs Badminton Academy at helen@cambsbadmintonacademy.co.uk.
