Alex Hampson completed a superb winter season by winning the Fenland Schools Cross-Country League title after a perfect record of three wins out of three.
Hampson has never been defeated against opponents of the same age in local cross-country events and the Nene Valley Harrier led Robert Manning to second place in the Year 7/8 Boys final league standing behind Bourne Grammar School.
Stanground College’s Kieran Jack claimed second spot in the race and the final standings of the Year 7/8 Boys category, while Katie Hutchinson of Arthur Mellows VC claimed victory in the final race to secure her second place finish in Year 7/8 Girls standings.
