Bretton powerlifter Louise Fox enjoyed a record-breaking return to form at the British Powerlifting Championships in Bournemouth last weekend (27-28 March).
Fox set two world records and a new British best on her way to defending the title, with her British record came in the squat where the diminutive dynamo lifted 102.5 kilograms.
After equaling her personal best in the bench press with 70kg, Fox broke her own world record with a weight of 167.5kg in the deadlift.
That gave the local star a combined weight of 330.5kg - more than enough to break the powerlift world mark and win the accolade of best female lifter in the competition.
Fox is now busy preparing for the European and World Championships at the end of the summer.
