Former World Junior Squash Champion Tania Bailey has joined the Sports Academy team at Hunts County Squash Club.
Bailey won the world junior title in 1997 and peaked at world no. 4 on Women’s Pro Tour during her career. She will bring a wealth of experience to the coaching team and will work with the club’s junior members, while making time to train and play with senior members.
The Sports Academy at the club already has qualified England Squash & Racketball coaches at Levels 2, 3 and 4, as well as three qualified Fitness Trainers and Sports Therapists.
Tania will begin her new role on April 2nd and with the British U23 Squash Championships taking place at Hunts County a few weeks later, Tania is sure to have a busy first month in office and one of her first jobs will be to present the trophy to the Ladies winner on finals night.
