Only 7 days to go until the 2010 Swimathon

The 2010 Swimathon is fast approaching with only a week until it begins.

2010 Swimathon sessions will be taking place in 9 pools across Cambridgeshire from 16th – 18th April, helping to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The pools involved in the Swimathon are; Bottisham Sports Centre, George Campbell Leisure Centre, Melbourn Sports Centre, One Leisure Ramsey, One Leisure St Neots, Paradise Swimming Pools, Parkside Pools, Regional Fitness and Swimming Centre, and Sawtry Leisure Centre.

Not only does the Swimathon allow us to support our pools through participation, it is a great opportunity for us to encourage regular training and participation. The Swimathon is also the world’s biggest fundraising swim.

So if you, or anyone you know, wishes to register for this year’s Swimathon. It can be done by going onto the Swimathon website at http://www.swimathon.org.
