Three Huntingdonshire AC athletes travelled to the Corby AC Open Meet and grabbed four wins out of four, setting five club records along the way.
In the Senior Men's 600m, Matt Leadbitter led from start to finish in a time of 85.0secs to knocked 3.5 seconds from the previous club record and win, while Peter Downhill's victory in the Veteran Men's 600m was even more emphatic as he crossed the line in 91.5 secs to set a new club Veterans record.
First place in the Under 17 Women's 300m race was top of the order for Lily Seach before coming into her own with a record-setting win in the 150m. Her time of 20.6 secs broke the existing club records in the Under 17, Under 20, and Senior Women's categories.
Hakeem Duckworth-Porter ran the sprints at Woodford Green, finishing 4th in the 100m in 11.9 and 2nd in the 200m in 24.3, while Anya Rodriguez came away with 4th in the Under 15 Girls long jump with 4.45m and 5th in the 200m with 28.7 secs Bedfordshire open meet at Luton.
Forty youngsters also enjoyed the two-day Easter Athletics programme at One Leisure in St Ives led by Huntingdonshire District Council in cooperation with Huntingdonshire AC and the Awards for All scheme.
