Bowls star Ellen Falkner will be stepping up preparations for the Commonwealth Games when she will represent England against Spain at the weekend.
The City of Ely bowler part of a 12-player party making the trip to the Emerald Isles Bowl Club in Torrevieja, Alicante, for matches on Saturday and Sunday.
This competition is part of the build up to the Games, which will be held in India this October. This will give them practice on synthetic pitches similar to those which will be used on the sub continent.
