The Wells Sports Foundation, a new national charity, has been launched and is entirely funded by a successful entrepreneur Barrie Wells.
The Foundation has been established to provide financial and motivational support to sustainable grassroots sports projects. 14 athletes across four sports have been identified to receive funding in the lead-in to the London 2012 Olympics.
In return for the investment these athletes have pledged to commit some of their time back into their local community to support grassroots projects.
One of the 14 athletes that has been funded by the Foundation is Cambridgeshire triathlete Charlotte Roach, who has pledged her commitment to the scheme and is therefore potentially available to support your work in the local area.
Charlotte has pledged 3 days (or 6 half days) to help support local projects that;

This opportunity is entirely free but is conditional on the suitability of the event and the athletes' availability.
