Cambridgeshire will be hosting three free sports events on the Sunday 25th July as part of the London 2012 Open Weekend.
The first event is held at West End Park in March from 10am to 2pm and is called the Fenland Games. The Games will encompass various challenges for children and adults including Target Goal, Basketball and Athletics. The Huntingdonshire Sports Festival in the Park is taking place at Hinchingbrooke Country Park from 11am to 2pm, with an excellent opportunity for young and old to experience some interactive sessions and challeneges. Visit www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk/activelifestyles for more information.
The final event on the weekend is Park Life, held at Milton Country Park in Milton from 11am to 4pm. It is aimed at the whole family to engage with new and different cultural and sports activities, while information will be provided on how to get involved more after the day.
