LIVING SPORT have extended the application deadline for Sport Unlimited funding to Friday 11th June and we are keen to see more applications from various organisations to take this opportunity of funding.
We really feel that this could really support you in continuing to offer high quality positive sporting activities to the young people of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough and provide vitally needed funds to kick start new opportunities for young people.
The Sport Unlimited programme is aimed at providing opportunities for young people aged 5- 19 in a wide range of sporting activities. A total of around £120,000 of funding is available to support activities until April 2011, which can cover a number of different aspects associated with each individual activity. This may include coaching fee, equipment cot, venue hire or transport.
A brief guide to the funding criteria can be found below:
The application process for this grant is very simple with support from LIVING SPORT available. On top of the funding available LIVING SPORT will provide all marketing material to give you the best opportunity to make the project a success.
We would really like to hear from you if you feel you have a project that could fit with this programme. Many clubs need to attract more junior members and this is an ideal way of reducing the cost of running an introductory session.
