PlayFair 2010

See what's new in play, playgrounds, play and sports equipment at PlayFair 2010 event on 22-23 June 2010 at Stoneleigh Park in Coventry.

In addition to the excellent, free try-it-out exhibits on display there is a free, two day seminar programme, live working demonstrations and a new product feature area, 'Playful Places,' with a showcase of just what can be done with the most unlikely of potential sites.

Keeping children physically active also includes challenges they can master, risks they can assess, fears they can conquer and 'hidden exercise' that develops coordination, motor skills, strength and burns calories.

Examples of this are:

  • Techo-play which uses computer chips to help burn body fat
  • Trim trails can inspire instant competition and older/larger children may help smaller ones
  • Special Needs play design concentrates on ability and can be tailored to each school's needs

Go to the PlayFair website to plan your visit, find out more information and register for the event free of charge to avoid possible entrance queues.
