Sisters Sandy Harper & Janice Laing, club members at St Neots Table Tennis Centre, joined the English National Table Tennis Ladies elite list by winning the much coveted J.M. Rosebowl on Saturday 22nd May 2010 at Draycott & Long Eaton TTC in Derbyshire.
Representing North Herts Table Tennis Association, the pair teamed up and took on all comers in the Ladies team event finals at the ETTA National Team Championships, having come through a tough qualification group at St Neots TTC earlier in the season.
On route to being crowned English champions the pair overcame teams from Cambridge, Derby and Hastings to top their group before overcoming a strong Chester/Ellesmere Port team 3-1 in the final.
