Helping People Lose Weight and Live Healthily

NHS Cambridgeshire is hosting a series of one-day training events to support professionals working with children, young people and their families to develop and build confidence in using evidence– based health coaching approaches including motivational interviewing.

These free training events are open to any interested party but space is limited, so complete and return the attached registration form below today!

Objectives

Attendees will:

  • Achieve better results with clients
  • Have the confidence and research-based knowledge to deliver more patient /client centred/ family-centred care and support
  • Be able to develop individualised plans
  • Improve their own wellbeing at work
  • Receive a certificate of attendance and Continuing Professional Development credits (Course being validated with the Open College Network)

Who Should Attend?

Those interested may include:

  • Professionals working with children, young people and their families.
  • Locality team and Children’s Centre staff, Early years foundation stage practitioners
  • School staff and school sports partnerships
  • School Nurses, Midwives, Health Visitors, District and Practice Nurses
  • Leisure service/sport development staff, community development staff and play workers.
  • Voluntary organisations
