Huff still in for the title bid

Rob Huff strengthened his claims for World Car Tour Championship in Belgium at the weekend.

The Cambridge driver finished the second race on the podium to pick up points to finish the weekend in 4th place overall. Huff is just 23 behind his Chevrolet team mate, Yvan Muller, and level on points with SR-Sports Gabriele Tarquini.

The first race was won by Jordi Gene as his teammate Tarquini was 2nd whilst Muller came 3rd. Huff was 6th by the end of the first lap and maintained that position to the flag.

However, he had some good fortune at the start of race two as one of the front row cars stalled, and another was slow away which allowed Huff to stick his Chevrolet Cruze right on the tail of Priaulx from the end of the the first lap.

Huff continued to hound the leader, driving for the Belgian-based Team RBM, while resisting the challenge of SR-Sports Tiago Monteiro but Priaulx managed to clinch his third win of the season.
